When does inappropriate online behavior cross the line to cyberbullying, and what can you do about it?
By the end of this class students will learn:
• Analyze online bullying behaviors that “cross the line.”
• Learn about the various ways that students can be cyberbullied, including flaming, deceiving, and harassing.
• Adopt the point of view of teens who have been cyberbullied, and offer solutions.

Today in Class:
We will analyze the difference between good-natured teasing from cyberbullying After discussing the term we will view a short video to understand the seriousness of what happens when someone is a target of cyberbullying. Next, we will work in small groups to critically discuss case studies and present our findings to each other. |
Working in Small Groups:
1. Choose one person from your group to be the note taker. This person will use Evernote to collect the ideas and conversation points of the group. 2. As a group, read the case study and answer the questions provided in the handout. 3. Prepare to share your findings as a group and then choose someone to be the representative. The representative will the speaker that will share the group's findings to the class. |
